Many people think that learning technologies like coding or artificial intelligence can help you get a better job, but in a recent interview, American wealthy entrepreneur Professor Scott Galloway said that young people should learn how to tell stories instead.

As technology gets better, Scott Galloway, a marketing professor at New York University, thinks that being able to share ideas with the help of data will be very useful.

People should not depend too much on tools like ChatGPT and AI, according to Scott Galloway. Instead, he said, workers should focus on becoming experts in their own fields.

The businessman and professor said, “If I could teach my 13- and 16-year-olds one skill that I think will last, it would be how to tell a story.”

He said that there is no one right way to tell a story because communication platforms are always changing. What counts is being able to write well, explain your ideas clearly, and show them with data, infographics, and slideshows.

Before, Forbes magazine said that two skills that will be in high demand this year are communicating with data and sharing stories with data. In 2025, 70% of jobs will closely relate to data, making it one of your most valuable tools.

Data storytelling lets you talk about hard topics in a way that doesn’t take a lot of technical know-how.

With modern tools and methods, you can look at important data and identify trends that can help you make good business decisions.
