Samsung’s Unveils First Copilot Plus PC with Free TV

Read Time:1 Minute, 30 Second

Microsoft showed off a bunch of Copilot Plus PCs at its Surface event on Monday. Samsung’s offerings include a 14-inch laptop and two 16-inch laptops, which are grouped together as the Galaxy Book4 Edge. Samsung will give you a free 50-inch TV if you order them today.

Starting at $1,349.99, the 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge has a 12-core 3.4GHz Snapdragon X Elite processor with 4.0GHz Dual Core Boost, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD that can be expanded up to 1TB. It has a 14-inch, 2880 x 1800 AMOLED touchscreen that can go as bright as 500 nits and supports HDR, VRR, and 120% of the P3 colour space. Plus, it has an HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 4 Type-C ports, and a combo audio jack.

Pricing and Features of the 16-inch Models

For $1,749.99, you can get the 16-inch model with the fastest Snapdragon X Elite processor (which can go up to 4.2GHz) and 1TB of storage. For $1,449.99, you can get the 16-inch model with the same processor as the 14-inch. The screens are the same as the 14-inch ones; they’re just bigger. Each of the 16-inchers has a USB 3.2 Type-A port and a microSD card slot, as well as two USB 4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and combo audio. These two items each weigh 3.4 pounds. The specifications in Samsung’s press release say that all three can only hold 16GB of RAM, which is the very least for a Copilot Plus PC and seems a bit inadequate. In fact, they come with Samsung’s Knox secure enclave and a lot of features that let them share data with Galaxy phones.
