NVIDIA’s Rubin AI GPU Set to Revolutionize AI Landscape with Early Launch and HBM4
NVIDIA’s next-gen Rubin AI GPU, featuring TSMC 3nm technology and HBM4 memory, launches 6 months early. Discover how Rubin is revolutionizing AI performance and securing NVIDIA’s leadership in AI GPUs.
NVIDIA is moving up the release date of its next-generation Rubin AI GPU by six months, from its original date in 2026. Using cutting-edge TSMC 3nm technology and very fast HBM4 memory, Rubin claims AI performance that has never been seen before.
Because it is the next generation of the Blackwell architecture, Rubin is ready to power NVIDIA’s next generation of AI GPUs, such as the highly expected GB300 series. Insiders in the industry say that NVIDIA has already teamed up with major Taiwanese supply chain companies to increase production of the R100-powered AI computers. This will make the transition from Blackwell to Rubin go smoothly.
TSMC is in strategic cooperation with NVIDIA jointly with SK Hynix and Rubin, which is needed for Rubin’s roll-out. To satisfy Rubin’s big needs, TSMC aims to boost the production yield of the high-end CoWoS packages with the plan to hit an output of 80,000 monthly in the fourth quarter of 2025.
This speeding up shows that NVIDIA is determined to keep AI tech moving forward. By moving up Rubin’s schedule, NVIDIA makes sure that its GPUs stay at the top of AI server performance, making the jump from Blackwell to Rubin a smooth one.
More and more people are working on AI, and Rubin’s early arrival solidifies NVIDIA’s place as a leader in cutting-edge AI GPU technology. This marks a huge step forward in AI processing power.
