Nvidia Powers New AI Private Cloud by Kyndryl to Accelerate AI Adoption in Japan

Kyndryl AI private cloud helps customers in testing and adoption through the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA.

Kyndryl, the largest independent IT infrastructure provider, has established an AI private cloud service in Japan, a significant advancement in AI for Japanese corporations. Nvidia AI Enterprise supports the private cloud, thereby providing improved features for Kyndryl’s AI platform. This unique product was created in partnership with Dell Technologies AI Factory to facilitate the fast and efficient creation of artificial intelligence applications in a secure environment.

This AI private cloud enables Japanese financial institutions, manufacturers, and academic entities to develop generative AI and large language model-based applications. Kyndryl’s experts, through the Kyndryl Vital AI Lab, assist in creating custom AI-driven solutions that meet specific business needs, allowing clients to explore a broad range of AI use cases—from retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to complex model training and inference.

The integration with Dell’s AI Factory and Nvidia’s technology provides clients with pre-validated, full-stack infrastructure tailored for performance and security. Nvidia’s Enterprise Vice President Bob Pette highlighted that combining Dell’s and Nvidia’s AI capabilities with Kyndryl’s service expertise gives enterprises the technical foundation to deploy AI at scale, enabling next-generation business transformation.

Additionally, Kyndryl plans to leverage Nvidia’s NeMo and NIM microservices to support generative AI solutions at scale, enhancing efficient workload management and advancing the adoption of AI across diverse industries in Japan.
