NVIDIA Unveils AI Powerhouse: GB300 AI Server Platform to Debut at GTC 2025
NVIDIA’s game-changing GB300 AI server platform features powerful B300 AI GPUs, 1.5x FP4 performance, 288GB HBM3E memory, and improved connectivity. Unveiled at GTC 2025.
At GTC 2025, NVIDIA will show off its next-generation GB300 AI server platform, which is driven by cutting-edge B300 AI GPUs. This will change the way AI is developed forever. The event, which takes place from March 17th to 20th, will show off this “market-grabbing weapon” that has revolutionary new features in both performance and style.
The new B300 AI GPUs should have up to 1400W of power and 1.5 times the FP4 speed of the B200 GPUs, which were their predecessors. This huge increase in efficiency shows that NVIDIA is the leader in AI hardware, meeting the needs of AI-driven apps that are growing all the time.
Each B300 GPU boasts 288GB of HBM3E memory, a significant jump from the 192GB capacity of the B200. The GPUs use a 12-Hi stack configuration, developed in collaboration with SK hynix, ensuring faster data handling for AI models and intensive workloads.
Fast ports and network cards have been improved on the GB300 platform, which raises optical module speeds from 800G to a scorching 1.6T. These improvements should make it easier to move data, which will make the platform more appealing to businesses that rely on AI-powered solutions.
The GB300 has a completely new way of designing slots that includes LPCAMM boards and battery trays. NVIDIA is also looking into battery backup units (BBUs), which are optional. According to figures from the supply chain, each GB300 server will cost $1,500 for one of these.
Each supercapacitor, which is necessary for the GB300 server to work, is expected to cost between $20 and $25. The platform, which needs more than 300 per server cabinet, shows that NVIDIA is investing in high-performance, energy-efficient AI infrastructure.
Described as a “market-grabbing weapon,” the GB300 is set to solidify NVIDIA’s dominance in the AI GPU market. With innovations spanning memory, connectivity, and design, this platform is poised to accelerate AI research and deployment globally.
