NVIDIA CEO & Ambani Discuss India’s AI Future: A Path to Global Leadership
Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, talks about AI at the Mumbai AI Summit as the main reason for India’s economic growth and digital change.
In Mumbai, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said at the company’s AI Summit on Wednesday that artificial intelligence will be the main force behind India’s digital change. Huang said that AI was the key to India’s economic growth and that the country’s IT and data tools were its most valuable assets. He predicted rapid progress in all areas.
Huang said, “India’s technical talent and huge data resources put it in a unique position to lead the AI revolution.” He talked about NVIDIA’s role in building AI infrastructure and said that by the end of the year, the company’s GPU deployments in India will have grown by almost ten times. The goal of this growth is to help the country’s “intelligence industry,” which is growing quickly.
The leading cloud service providers of India are expanding their data centers’ space because AI-infused structural frameworks demand it. India’s AI vision was discussed by more Huang and Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries. It drew them on how the synergies could be made in order to advance innovation in industry energy as well as telecommunication. Ambani went on to state that both Reliance and NVIDIA are in the process of creating AI plants for enhancement of the applicability of the automation concept in the industry and equally in enhancing the efficiency of the public sector services.
Huang also stressed that NVIDIA is dedicated to helping India’s developers improve their skills. They want to work with top tech companies to do this, which will prepare India’s developers for the future of AI.
Ambani was optimistic about India’s future as a world leader in artificial intelligence (AI). He said that the country’s young, tech-savvy people would push the “intelligence age” forward.
