Microsoft Outlook Unveils AI-Powered Adaptive Themes for Enhanced Personalization

Microsoft’s AI-based “Themes by Copilot” in Outlook works by adapting the location and weather on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and the web.

Microsoft Outlook has come up with a new feature called ‘Themes by Copilot’, that offers constantly, evolving, adapting, and even responding to the general light-based fun themes which give the application a changed outlook. This new feature relies on Copilot AI from Microsoft to allow users to select preferred themes that evolve based on conditions such as location and weather.

Outlook users can use Themes by Copilot to pick bright color schemes like deep green, red, and purple, which makes the experience more interesting to look at. The themes can be changed to fit more than 100 places around the world, or users can add their spots for a more personal touch. With this choice, the AI can come up with its themes based on details about the location and environment.

The adaptive themes can be used on all major devices, such as iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Outlook on the web. The chosen theme will be shown as background wallpaper on the PC version but as an accent at the top of the app on the mobile version. Both versions will have accent colors that go well with the main color to make it look better overall.

At the moment, this feature is being tested with Copilot Pro subscribers and business users with Copilot add-ons, but Microsoft is going to extend this experience based on artificial intelligence to all users within the next months.

The ongoing idea of integrating AI into its platforms is a clear indication that Microsoft is keen on working on its capability of providing intelligent and adaptive solutions that would improve user experience.
