Microsoft Helps Kuwait Finance Ministry Enhance AI and Financial Systems
The Ministry of Finance in Kuwait works with Microsoft to go digital. Through new training programs, they improve financial systems, AI, and administrative services.
The ministry said this project fits with its plans to connect government agencies to financial systems and make services better overall.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Finance of Kuwait signed an agreement with Microsoft to work together on digital transformation, developing financial systems, training for administrative improvement, and artificial intelligence (AI).
In Seattle, US, Aseel Al-Menifi, who is Kuwait’s Undersecretary of Finance, and Angela Heise, who is Vice President of Microsoft’s Public Sector business, signed the document. This was reported by the Ministry in a press release.
The goal of the agreement is to set a date for improving financial systems and services and moving digital transformation forward using global technologies, mainly AI and cloud services.
Microsoft Supports Ministry’s Project
The ministry made it clear that this project fits in with its plans to connect government agencies’ financial systems and make services better in general. Microsoft said again that it was ready to help the ministry reach its goals with technical support.
Al-Menifi also met with Kirk Arthur, who is the Director of Business Strategies for the Government Sector at Microsoft. Arthur told Al-Menifi about the company’s plans for working with governments around the world.
The ministry said that a ministry team and Microsoft would work together in workshops to make detailed plans for how they would work together and what actions, skills, and technical help would be needed to reach the ministry’s goals.
