MetaAI Expands Globally, Launching in Brazil, Bolivia, and More
MetaAI is expanding globally, launching today in Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, and other places. Future releases will also take place in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
MetaAI is starting to spread all over the world. Today, the AI helper is coming to Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, the Philippines, and the UK.
The company has not provided exact dates for its initial release in Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Thailand, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Yemen.
These changes also add new language support to Meta AI. We will start supporting Tagalog today.
Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese will follow “soon.” You can use the Meta AI assistant on the web or in the company’s social media apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
Meta AI Debuts on Ray-Ban Smart Glasses
Meta AI will be available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in the UK and Australia. This is the last part of today’s announcement. For now, the UK launch will only support voice.
Meta did not give a time frame for when customers in the UK might be able to use the glasses in all three modes.
The EU is notably absent from this expansion. After worrying about EU regulations, Meta decided not to offer multimodal AI services in the EU this summer.
According to reports, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t like how European regulators handle the rise of AI.
