LinkedIn offers AI-generated cover letters

LinkedIn’s platform is adding AI-powered features to help people naturally look for jobs, review resumes, and write cover letters. We are also adding AI job coaches, and we will soon introduce a conversational search experience.

New AI features have been all the rage on all the big social networks and websites, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that LinkedIn is following suit.

You won’t have to click through a bunch of different options to find a job. Instead, you can search for jobs more naturally.

LinkedIn is also incorporating AI job coaches, trained by renowned educators. The last big change has to do with the search.

This is more of a teaser, as LinkedIn says it will share more information about the new search experience in the next few weeks. But once more, the goal is to search feel more like a discussion.

LinkedIn has been building with AI since 2007, according to its product head. This isn’t the first time the company has used AI.

But since Microsoft, which owns OpenAI, has put a lot of money into it, it probably has access to better tools now.
