Google Unveils $120M Global Fund to Boost AI Education Worldwide

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced a $120 million Global AI Opportunity Fund to support AI education worldwide at the UN Future Summit. He did this to highlight AI’s transformative potential and discuss its risks and opportunities.

During his speech at the UN Future Summit, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, said that a global fund would be set up to help AI-related educational projects. The Global AI Opportunity Fund will cost $120 million to set up. With its help, Google wants to make AI education available in places all over the world. Together with local public groups, the goal will be achieved.

Sundar Pichai said many things, one of which was that AI was “the most transformative technology.” The CEO of Google also talked about the excellent chances he sees for AI and green building.

It’s about making it easier for people to get information in their language, speeding up scientific progress, warning about and keeping track of climate disasters, and boosting the economy. Additionally, Sundar Pichai agreed that AI does pose some risks, such as with deep fakes. But the CEO of Google didn’t say anything about how AI might affect the climate.
