Google Unleashes Powerful Gemini Live AI Chatbot to All Android Users

Gemini Live AI chatbot of Google is now open for all Android users. Although, it provides enhanced voice help and support for the various other languages which makes it available to people across the world and the user experience enhanced.

Every Android user can now get Google’s voice AI helper Gemini Live for free. Ars Technica wrote in a story on Friday that the feature is noteworthy because OpenAI’s similar voice feature has not yet been fully released.

Google launched Gemini Live at the Pixel 9 launch event in August. At first, only Gemini Advanced users could use it. Now, anyone on Android who has the Gemini app or its layer can use the service.

It’s interesting that OpenAI first showed off its Advanced Voice Mode with the launch of GPT-4o in May, but the feature has only been available to a small group of users since late July, according to a report in Ars Technica. Some AI experts think that a bigger launch has been delayed because computers don’t have enough power.

In a blog post last month, Sisie Hsiao, the vice president and general manager of Gemini experiences and Google Assistant said that Gemini Live is a mobile conversational experience through which one can engage in fun and natural discussions with Gemini.

The AI assistant also lets users cut the AI assistant off in the middle of a sentence to ask for more information, stop a conversation and pick it up again later, and keep talking to it in the background or when the phone is locked.

Google also wants to connect Gemini to more Google tools and apps. In the coming weeks, they will also release plugins for Keep, Tasks, Utilities, Calendar, and YouTube Music with more features.

According to The AI Wired, users can access Gemini at any time, no matter what else they’re doing on their phone, since it’s fully built into Android. Plus, it can read what’s on the screen and talk to apps like Gmail and Google Messages.

Big tech companies are rushing to make advanced AI robots that can communicate in multiple languages for cross-border eCommerce. This could change how businesses interact with customers from other countries.

Google just recently expanded Gemini AI in India. This shows how important multilingual skills are in the business and makes Google one of many companies trying to make chatbots that can talk to people in different languages.

As Tim Peters, CMO of Enghouse Systems, told in an interview, multilingual AI chatbots have a lot of promise for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that want to grow into international markets.

Chatbots can help businesses get around language barriers by translating accurately and in real time. This makes it easier for businesses to connect with people all over the world.
