Apple working on bringing AI to vision pro
Apple is adding AI to more devices than just the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. These devices include Vision Pro headsets. By 2026, Apple wants to completely change mixed-reality experiences with advanced features like spatial audio and gesture controls.
Apple has more AI plans than just releasing Apple Intelligence on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac as planned. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the company is also working to add these features to its Vision Pro headsets.
This isn’t the most surprising move. If Apple Intelligence, which includes a better Siri, proofreading tools, and custom emojis, is vital to Apple’s future, then why isn’t it on all of their newest products? Even though the Vision Pro has a lot of great features, it is still an unusually expensive device that only a few people can use so far.
According to Gurman, Apple Intelligence will not be available on the Vision Pro this year.
Apple needs to rethink how the features will look in mixed reality instead of just on an iPhone or MacBook screen.
Enhanced Display and AirPods Integration Rumors
Gurman reports that Apple is altering the display of the Vision Pro headset in stores to boost sales.
The Vision Pro will now allow potential buyers to view their media, and Apple is switching the headband from the Solo Loop to the Dual Loop for enhanced comfort.
Finally, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has uncovered new Apple rumors. He says that his most recent survey of Apple’s supply chain makes him think that the company plans to mass-produce AirPods with infrared cameras by 2026.
If you use these new AirPods with the Vision Pro, you might be able to experience new spatial audio and use gesture controls.
